| Madden NFL '08 has many new free game additions that single and multiplayer game geeks will love. That is not to say that Madden NFL '08 is free of challenges and plays as a perfect game. In fact, the football game has the usual lot of game challenges. First the negative game aspects. Many of the graphics are recycled from previous versions of Madden NFL. It just makes the football game feel slightly dated for a game player who has played Madden football from the beginning. Menus are a bit weak, players all have a similar look, and sometimes that game look is like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. | ||
| Game audio is also a bit tired. Al and John with much of the same commentary, similar field audio bites, and weak rap music for the soundtrack. Maybe EA Sports should consider a little old school music that made stadium rock great - 70s and 80s stadium rock of course. My best game guess is that EA has had phenomenal success with Madden NFL games, and chose not to rock the game boat too much. Understandable for one of the best selling video games and video game concepts to date. | ||
| Overall, Madden NFL '08 is, as usual, a great video game. New and improved features like superstar mode, franchise mode, mini games, and online play - that's right, play games onlines. Madden NFL '08 also features great depth with 30 football game seasons to choose your favorite football stars and legends. Let Brett Favre pass the football, and have your favorite wide receiver racing to for the catch. | ||

The bottom line with EA Sports Madden NFL '08 is that is still a great video game, especially onlines. Aside from a few bugs and needed game software upgrades, it's a game worth buying.
